INFOTEP, Fundación Grupo Puntacana, ASOLESTE y Clúster Turístico se unen para formación capital humano de la región Este

Las entidades se comprometieron con la construcción y puesta en ejecución del Centro Internacional de Formación Profesional Punta Cana, «La Ciudad del Saber».

El Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP); la Fundación Grupo Puntacana; la Asociación de Hoteles y Proyectos Turísticos de la Zona Este (ASOLESTE) y el Clúster Turístico La Altagracia unirán esfuerzos para ejecutar un programa de formación, capacitación y especialización del capital humano de la zona Este del país, para impulsar la productividad y competitividad del sector turístico de la región.

Las entidades, representadas por Rafael Santos Badía, director general del INFOTEP, Frank Rainieri Marranzini, presidente del Grupo Puntacana, y Manuel Ernesto Veloz, presidente de ASOLESTE y del Clúster Turístico La Altagracia, firmaron un acuerdo de colaboración que tendrá una vigencia de cinco años.

El director general del INFOTEP indicó que esta firma se enmarca en los planes del presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, de impulsar el turismo y la generación de 600 mil nuevos empleos en el sector privado.
