La Asociación Dominicana de Empresas de la Industria del Combustible, ADEIC, ratifico su compromiso de trabajar, en conjunto con el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes (MICM), para fortalecer con las mejores prácticas internacionales y los estándares de hidrocarburos, en apoyo a las operaciones de los sectores productivos del país y crecimiento económico nacional.
Estas declaraciones fueron ofrecidas en el segundo encuentro para socios realizado en el Hotel Real Intercontinental donde contaron con la presencia del ministro de Industria, Comercio y Mypimes, Víctor Bisono quien tuvo a su cargo la ponencia principal con el título “Reorganizar el sistema de hidrocarburo, el primer paso hacia el futuro”.
Miguel René de la Cruz, presidente de ADEIC, indicó que la entidad ha estado en un proceso de colaboración con el sector público para fortalecer y promover la sana competencia dentro de un marco regulatorio adaptado a las nuevas tendencias y las demandas de los usuarios del sector de hidrocarburos del país.
“Desde ADEIC apoyamos al sector público para adoptar las mejores prácticas enlas disposiciones regulatorias del sector que permitan elevar la calidad ycompetitividad del país, y a su vez ofrecer un servicio responsable y eficiente anuestros clientes”, expresó de la Cruz.
Destacaron quelas empresas miembros de ADEIC han ofrecido todo el apoyo necesario para continuar los planes de vacunación para disminuir los contagios y superar juntos los efectos de la pandemia.
Informaron que las empresas de la asociación tienen presencia en la mayoría de los aeropuertos del país y en toda la geografía nacional con una red de cientos de Estaciones de GLP, Gas Natural y Gasolina.
Así mismo expresaron que también brindan servicios de transporte de combustible moviendo aproximadamente12 Millones de Galones mensualesy generando más de 3,000 empleos de manera directa, así como miles más de manera indirecta.
La entidad destacó que esta industria está integrada por inversionistas nacionales y extranjeros que contribuyen al desarrollo de la economía del país a través de sus operaciones.
En la actualidad ADEIC tiene como miembros a Interquimica, GB-Texaco, Atlantic Petroleum, UnitedPetroleum, CEPM, Soluciones de Gas Natural, Terpel, OPM, BaruthCorporation, United Gas, Del Prado, Strata, Inversiones Cajamarca, ShinyInvesment Group, entre otros.
