SANTO DOMINGO, R.D., Enero 19, 2021.- La Asociación Nacional de Jóvenes Empresarios (ANJE) afirmo que la pronta y organizada distribución y aplicación de las vacunas contra la COVID-19 que han sido adquiridas por el Estado Dominicano, junto con medidas sanitarias y de distanciamiento social, es crítica para estimular la recuperación económica del país. En ese sentido, destaca la asociación que el gobierno debe realizar los esfuerzos necesarios para preparar un plan integral para importar, distribuir y administrar las vacunas dentro del menor plazo posible a la población dominicana.
Los jóvenes empresarios destacan que países que han iniciado el proceso de vacunación han enfrentado grandes retos logísticos para importar y distribuir las vacunas a nivel nacional y vacunar de manera efectiva su población en el tiempo adecuado. Es por lo que, la ANJE considera que el país debe adoptar un plan robusto de la logística de implementación de las vacunas tomando en cuenta las mejores prácticas internacionales.
“Consideramos que el gobierno debe formular y adoptar un plan integral de manera que las vacunas contra la COVID-19 sea accesible y asequible para la población, con el fin de ir trazando próximos pasos hacía la recuperación”, dijo Susana Martínez Nadal, presidenta de ANJE. Esta robusta estrategia de vacunación, juntamente con medidas sanitarias y de distanciamiento físico, serán la punta de lanza para afianzar la recuperación del país, afirma la Asociación.
Desde ANJE, saludamos las acciones ejecutadas por las autoridades hasta el momento para frenar la pandemia, como son el incremento en las partidas del Ministerio de Salud Pública y Asistencia Social en el presupuesto 2021, así como el ajuste constante del horario de toque de queda de acuerdo con la realidad epidemiológica del momento. Muy especialmente, reconocemos como positivo el esfuerzo de adquirir las vacunas de manera expedita para garantizar su pronta distribución y aplicación a la población dominicana.
Afirman además los jóvenes empresarios que es clave que la ciudadanía conozca cuáles serán las diferentes etapas del proceso de aplicación de las dosis y los grupos de mayor prioridad, por lo cual es necesario una comunicación clara y oportuna.
