Santo Domingo, R.D. Junio 02, 2021.- La Asociación Dominicana de Administradoras de Riesgos de Salud (ADARS) puntualizo que los precios de las pruebas PCR son establecidos por el Ministerio de Salud Pública y los laboratorios clínicos que las procesan.
“ADARS está sujeta a la Resolución Administrativa No. 00230-2020, tal como indica el Artículo 1, donde el gobierno dominicano dispuso medidas específicas, en lo relativo al costo, financiamiento y cobertura de la realización de las pruebas PCR. Por igual, contemplado en el Art. 4, acápite 7, el monto facturado se corresponde con lo establecido en el acuerdo entre el Ministerio de Salud Pública y los laboratorios privados”, expresó José Manuel Vargas, Presidente Ejecutivo de ADARS.
“Los miembros de ADARS solo han servido de soporte, poniendo al servicio sus infraestructuras tecnológicas y plataformas administrativas para gestión de las pruebas. Decisión que fue tomada en consenso entre ambas partes, tanto por el gobierno dominicano como por los laboratorios clínicos, en el entendido que eran las ARSs las entidades idóneas para llevar a cabo un mayor control, contabilización y agilización del servicio dada la alta demanda de realización de los estudios. Los costos relativos al proceso de intermediación, han sido asumidos por las ARSs debido a la difícil situación que vive el país”, expresó Vargas.
“Son los gobiernos en cada país que establecen los protocolos, el costo y la cobertura de este tipo de servicio, en especial en tiempos de pandemia. República Dominicana no es la excepción”, expresó.
Indicó que una muestra fehaciente de su colaboración y solidaridad es el hecho de que las ARSs de ADARS han aportado al gobierno dominicano US$3,450,000.00 para la adquisición de vacunas en medio de la pandemia.
“Reiteramos nuestra mejor disposición de colaborar estrechamente con las autoridades y demás actores que conforman el Seguro Familiar de Salud para enfrentar con éxito el virus”, señala la ADARS.
