Cap Cana, La Altagracia, R.D. Julio 2021.- El evento latino más importante a nivel global, los HEAT Latin Music Awards, celebró por lo alto su Sexta Edición de galardones en honor a la música latina, una experiencia única en la que la playa es el escenario y el Mar Caribe un gran espectador.
En la paradisíaca Ciudad Destino Cap Cana de la bella República Dominicana, se instaló́ todo el sabor latino y la alegría característica de esta nueva entrega, conducida por la célebre modelo y presentadora colombiana Melina Ramírez junto al astro de TikTok Kunno. Asimismo, la alfombra HEAT estuvo a cargo del talentoso locutor y actor puertorriqueño Molusco, la gran conductora dominicana Jessica Pereira y los reconocidos colombianos: el Dj y productor Alex Sensation y la modelo y presentadora Maria Laura Quintero.
En medio de esta noche mágica, los HEAT Latin Music Awards brindaron un especial reconocimiento al mejor talento latino presente en el arte sonoro, con sus dos ternas reservadas para los miembros votantes como lo son, el Premio Compromiso, concedido este año para la gran diva Gloria Trevi, por su incansable labor social que proyecta a través de su Fundación Ana Dalai sin fines de lucro, y con la cual ha brindado apoyo a niños desamparados en México y Estados Unidos que nacen dentro de las cárceles y a familias necesitadas en momentos de desastres naturales.
Asimismo, la Organización le entregó al ícono urbano Wisin el exclusivo Premio Oro, como un reconocimiento especial a su influyente y vigente trayectoria profesional de más de 18 años, con la que se ha destacado notoriamente como cantante, compositor y productor, primero como parte del dúo Wisin y Yandel y actualmente como solista y empresario con su sello, La Base.
Además, durante esta nueva entrega, la superestrella Arcangel fue homenajeado con el reconocimiento a la trayectoria e innovación en el género urbano, por ser uno de los pioneros del reggaeton y el trap latino, creando siempre distintas experiencias musicales de alta calidad con las que demuestra su indudable contribución a la evolución de la música latina urbana.
Igualmente, la superestrella femenina del pop más grande del mundo procedente de Brasil, Anitta, recibió el reconocimiento al empoderamiento femenino, por ser una de las mujeres más importantes e influyentes de la música latina, con una relevante presencia en redes sociales y un arrasador éxito con el que ha transformado y sigue transformando al mercado musical.
Otro importante reconocimiento a la trayectoria fue concedido al ídolo que une generaciones, Wilkins, debido a sus más de 40 años de recorrido artístico con el que logró ser pionero del rock en su país, Puerto Rico, siendo, además, una de las figuras más sobresalientes de nuestra historia musical popular, marcada por sus grandes éxitos “Margarita” y “Sopa de Caracol”.
