Anuncia celebracion Semana de la Seguridad Social 2021

El Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social (CNSS), anunció la celebración de la “Semana de la Seguridad Social”, a efectuarse del 3 al 9 de mayo 2021. Dicha actividad se realiza atendiendo a la disposición del Poder Ejecutivo que declara el 9 de mayo “Día Nacional de la Seguridad Social”, debido a su importancia como pilar de protección de todos los dominicanos y residentes legales en el país.

El mandato está contenido en el decreto 247-11, que autoriza al Consejo a desarrollar un programa para difundir y valorar la Seguridad Social durante el mes de mayo de cada año, recordó el gerente general del CNSS, Félix Aracena Vargas.

El funcionario dio a conocer que darán apertura a la Semana de la Seguridad Social el lunes 3 de mayo a las 8:00 A.M con el izamiento de la bandera en la explanada de la Torre de la Seguridad Social con la participación de las entidades del Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social (SDSS).

“Continuamos el martes 4 de mayo con la producción de un programa especial que será transmitido por la Corporación Estatal de Radio y Televisión (CERTV), ese mismo día a las 10:00 A.M realizaremos una ofrenda floral en el Altar de Patria y el miércoles 5 de mayo una misa de Acción de Gracias con motivo del 20 aniversario de la Ley 87-01, la eucaristía será oficiada por monseñor Francisco Ozoria Acosta, arzobispo de Santo Domingo en la Catedral Primada de América”, dijo.

Aracena Vargas, anunció que el jueves 06 de mayo en la Biblioteca Nacional a las 3:00 P.M se realizará el lanzamiento del Plan Estratégico del SDSS 2021-2024, el panel “Hacia una protección social universal” y puesta en circulación de la revista “País Dominicano Temático”.

“Para finalizar la semana tendremos dos interesantes charlas virtuales el viernes 07 a las 9:30 A.M a través del canal de YouTube del CNSS, las cuales estarán a cargo de la Secretaria General de la Organización Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social (OISS), Gina Magnolia Riaño titulada “Retos de los Sistemas de Seguridad Social”. En tanto que el ministro de Trabajo y presidente del CNSS, Luis Miguel De Camps, abordará el tema “Avances y desafíos de la Seguridad Social en República Dominicana”, a las 11:00 A.M”.

Todas las actividades contarán de la Superintendencia de Salud y Riesgos Laborales (SISALRIL), la Superintendencia de Pensiones (SIPEN), la Tesorería de la Seguridad Social (TSS), la Dirección de Información y Defensa de los Afiliados (DIDA), el Instituto Dominicano de Prevención y Protección de Riesgos Laborales (IDOPPRIL), la contraloría del SDSS, miembros del CNSS y funcionarios de la Gerencia General del CNSS.
