SOSUA, Cabarete, R.D. Febrero 2021- The DREAM Project celebra por primera vez de manera virtual su noveno actividad benéfica “Sueños 2021” este jueves 25 de febrero a partir de las 7:00 de la noche, creando un puente entre la República Dominicana y la red internacional
de apoyo de DREAM.
“Sueños 2021” iniciará con un exclusivo Brugal 1888 Ambassador Cocktail Toasts, presentado por los miembros de la Junta Ejecutiva de DREAM, en la que serán entregadas cajas especiales de DREAM en las puertas de estos invitados especiales.
El evento principal comenzará a las 7pm, encabezado por la ceremonia de entrega de premios de DREAM en reconocimiento a su DREAMer del año a la actriz y cantautora Leslie Grace, Community DREAMer del año y concluirá bajo el ritmo de The DREAM Bachata Academy.
La buena compañía, el buen gusto de cócteles y la música se unen una vez más para esta noche mágica de buena causa y celebración de lo mejor de la República Dominicana.
Celebridades, educadores y algunos filántropos prominentes se conectarán para ayudar a la organización a financiar y recolectar recursos para expandir sus programas educativos, impactando a más de 27 comunidades desfavorecidas y ayudando a cerrar el ciclo de la pobreza en la República Dominicana. Más que nunca, estos recursos son fundamentales, ya que DREAM es una de las pocas organizaciones que ofrece educación a más de 8.000 jóvenes que no tienen otra fuente de aprendizaje.
Entre las personalidades que asistirán al evento este año se encuentran: El actor Taye Diggs de All American, Leslie Grace, quien recientemente lanzó su último sencillo “Conga” y protagonizará la próxima película, IN THE HEIGHTS, el músico Pavel Nuñez, Doug Wimbish de Living Colour, el artista Tony Peralta, la actriz Solly Duran, Katherine Castro, y Carolina Contreras fundadora de Miss Rizos, entre otros.
Toda la recaudación de Sueños irán a #DREAMenCASA, la red de programas en línea y en casa que afecta a más de 8.000 jóvenes dominicanos en 27 comunidades diferentes.
