Haina, R.D. Agosto 10, 2021.- El presidente del Consejo de Administración de la Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo PDV (Refidomsa), doctor Leonardo Aguilera, junto al ministro de Obras Públicas, Deligne Ascención, y empresarios en Haina anunciaron el inicio de trabajos para solucionar inundaciones que provocan las lluvias y afectan a decenas de familias y comercios en el sector de Bajos de Haina.
El acuerdo que unirá al sector público y privado en la solución del problema que por décadas ha sido demandada por habitantes del barrio Vacacional y comerciantes que operan con fábricas y almacenes en la zona, iniciará con estudios técnicos para determinar las causas y solución al acumulamiento de aguas que impide el tránsito cuando ocurren efectos meteorológicos.
El anuncio fue realizado durante un recorrido por los lugares afectados, donde también participaron la vicepresidenta ejecutiva de la Asociación de Industrias y Empresas de Haina y Región Sur, Dilcia Paulino, y el empresario José Singer de Termo Envases.
Los ejecutivos explicaron que los trabajos serán realizados con inversiones privadas y públicas que recaerán principalmente en Refidomsa, Termo Envase y MOPC.
Aguilera agradeció al ingeniero Ascención por escuchar las peticiones de los afectados y empresarios que conviven en el lugar, para así junto poder aportar al desarrollo de Haina y otras comunidades que por allí se comunican.
De su parte, el ministro de Obras Públicas adelantó que desde esa institución están comprometidos con resolver los problemas que afectan a los dominicanos y dominicanas en todo el país, tal como lo ha prometido el presidente de la República, Luis Abinader.
