Mientras que el Viceministro de Agenda Digital, José David Montilla, destacó que la Guía elaborada por el Comité TIC de AMCHAMDR impacta y apoya directamente la implementación de la estrategia de la Agenda Digital 2030, que desarrolla ese organismo estatal.

El Comité TIC de la Cámara Americana de Comercio de la República Dominicana (AMCHAMDR) puso a disposición de emprendedores y dueños de micro, pequeños y medianos negocios la Guía Práctica para montar tu negocio en Internet, un documento que les permitirá impulsar sus modelos de negocio a través del comercio electrónico.
Durante el acto virtual de lanzamiento, el presidente de AMCHAMDR, Roberto Herrera, destacó que la guía representa un gran aporte del Comité TIC para que las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (Mipymes) adopten estrategias digitales y utilicen la tecnología como herramienta de apalancamiento para elevar su competitividad.
“Esta Guía Práctica para montar tu negocio en internet permitirá a los empresarios dar un salto cualitativo en sus negocios a través del comercio electrónico, explorar nuevos nichos de mercado e impulsar una transformación digital sostenible a lo interno de sus organizaciones”, afirmó Herrera.
Mientras que el Viceministro de Agenda Digital, José David Montilla, destacó que la Guía elaborada por el Comité TIC de AMCHAMDR impacta y apoya directamente la implementación de la estrategia de la Agenda Digital 2030, que desarrolla ese organismo estatal.
“Desde el Viceministerio de Agenda Digital felicitamos la iniciativa de poner a disposición del público la Guía Práctica para Montar tu Negocio en Internet, porque contribuye a visibilizar e impulsar políticas públicas que puedan ser adoptadas por los emprendedores y, a la vez, fortalece la Alianza Público-Privada que busca incentivar la transformación digital en la República Dominicana”, afirmó Montilla.
María Waleska Álvarez, presidenta del Comité TIC, explicó que la Guía Práctica para montar tu negocio en internet surgió en un momento trascendental para que las empresas integren procesos de digitalización en sus negocios, en el contexto de la nueva normalidad y ante los cambios en el perfil y consumo de los usuarios.
Álvarez destacó que la guía, elaborada por expertos en comercio electrónico que han creado e impulsado negocios en línea, recoge las experiencias y conocimientos para montar de forma práctica un negocio e internet.
La “Guía Práctica para montar tu negocio en internet” se realizó gracias al patrocinio de las empresas que componen el Círculo Élite de AMCHAMDR: AES Dominicana, Barrick Pueblo Viejo, Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Citi, HIT Puerto Río Haina, Humano, Inicia, Martí, Grupo Rica, Grupo SID y Squire Patton Boggs, así como tambi;en del apoyo de Altice, Banco Popular, Cardnet, DP World, IMCA, Onemax, Visa y Schad Logistics.
Una guía paso a paso para montar tu eCommerce
La “Guía Práctica para montar tu negocio en internet” fue elaborada por los miembros de la Comisión de Economía Digital del Comité TIC de AMCHAMDR: Claudia Chez Abreu, Nicholas Izquierdo, José Alejandro Paulino, Nidia Martínez y Heriberto Minaya. Recopila todos los pasos que debe dar una empresa para desarrollar un eCommerce. Está disponible de forma gratuita para todo público desde el website www.amcham.org.do.
Explicada en un en un lenguaje simple y práctico, la Guía resalta la importancia de que las empresas tengan presencia en línea. Aborda temas como la definición de la identidad de marca, los distintos modelos de comercio electrónico, cómo plantear una propuesta de valor diferenciadora, así como también los diferentes modelos de ingreso para los comercios en línea.
También hace referencia a cómo seleccionar la plataforma de eCommerce más adecuada para su negocio, diseñar la arquitectura de la web para resaltar las secciones importantes dentro del sitio, garantizar la ciberseguridad y la implementación de certificados digitales.
Así mismo se hace un recuento explicativo sobre cómo administrar la plataforma de comercio electrónico establecida, verificar cuál es la plataforma de pagos más conveniente, estrategias para el manejo de inventario y otros temas de operación del negocio, automatización de procesos y técnicas eficaces de servicio al cliente.
El documento también hace énfasis en la importancia de la estrategia comercial y preparación del producto o servicio a ofertar a través del ecosistema digital, y cómo establecer planes de ventas, publicidad y marketing, Según un estudio del Banco Mundial sobre el impacto del COVID-19 en el comercio electrónico, en el 2019 las ventas a nivel global por este canal fueron de 3.5 billones de dólares, lo que representó un crecimiento del 18%. El informe “Embedding Digital Finance in e-Commerce Platforms during the COVID-19 Pandemic” destacó además que las transacciones al retail generaron unos 25 billones de dólares, para un aumento de apenas 4.5% en el mismo año.
