La institución financiera firma un convenio con el ADN con motivo de su 80 Aniversario
El Banco de Reservas destinará RD$20 millones para el remozamiento de 80 plazas y parques públicos emblemáticos de la ciudad, como parte de un convenio de colaboración entre el Ayuntamiento del Distrito Nacional (ADN) y la entidad bancaria para la seguridad y el digno esparcimiento de los ciudadanos.
Samuel Pereyra, administrador general de la Banreservas, informó que la ayuda se extenderá a 80 espacios al aire libre, equivalentes al mismo número de años que la institución financiera lleva ofreciendo servicios ininterrumpidos a la sociedad dominicana.
“Es con suma alegría, con pleno conocimiento de causa, con identificación total con el Ayuntamiento del Distrito Nacional y con todos sus munícipes, que hacemos entrega de esta contribución de 20 millones de pesos para acciones tan hermosas, útiles y necesarias, que se suman a otros significativos aportes de Banreservas, en aras de la preservación, el disfrute y la defensa de nuestra ecología”, afirmó Pereyra.
La alcaldesa Carolina Mejía expresó que la revalorización de 80 espacios públicos en la capital es un hecho sin precedentes que mejorará la calidad de vida de los capitaleños, al contar con espacios dignos y áreas verdes para su sano esparcimiento y compartir en familia.
“Agradezco de todo corazón a Banreservas por su disposición inmediata de contribuir con este proyecto de patronazgo en el marco de su 80 Aniversario sirviendo a los dominicanos y a nuestro Santo Domingo”, subrayó Mejía.
El convenio de Patronazgo de Plazas y Parques Públicos del Distrito Nacional establece que el ADN deberá notificar a Banreservas de cualquier arreglo, modificaciones o mejoras que sean requeridas en estas plazas y parques públicos, debiendo suministrar un inventario pormenorizado de cada uno de los detalles o arreglos a ser realizados por la institución financiera.
Aportes, calzadas y señalización
El aporte se destinará directamente a las empresas ejecutoras del proyecto de remozamiento, que suministrarán al Banco de Reservas informaciones sobre los materiales y la mano de obra para su ejecución. Luego de culminados los trabajos, el ADN asegurará el mantenimiento adecuado a fines de garantizar su sostenibilidad en el tiempo.
Los trabajos incluyen mantenimiento de aceras, iluminación y señalizaciones de las plazas y parques que indique la alcaldía, durante un año.
En los próximos días serán inaugurados varios de los parques y plazas remozadas por el cabildo con el respaldo de Banreservas, según anunciaron ambas entidades en un comunicado de prensa conjunto.
