Calificadora Feller Rate asigna a APAP perspectivas positivas de A+

La calificadora de riesgo Feller Rate ratificó en “A+” la solvencia de la Asociación Popular de Ahorros y Préstamos (APAP), subiendo su calificación de estable a “positiva”, lo que indica que la entidad financiera ha mostrado capacidad y resiliencia antes los efectos de la pandemia, que se suman a una fuerte gestión de riesgos de crédito, buena cartera y altos niveles de cobertura de previsiones.

La firma calificadora destacó que APAP se enfocó en la eficiencia y en los buenos niveles de margen operacional, lo que ha permitido ampliar la cobertura de previsiones, colocando los niveles de solvencia a marzo en 49,7%, superior al sistema (43,8%), favoreciendo los segmentos hipotecarios, créditos pymes y de tarjetas de créditos.

En ese sentido, el vicepresidente ejecutivo de APAP, Gustavo Ariza, se mostró complacido por la calificación otorgada por Feller Rate, y a su vez enfatizó que el compromiso de la entidad financiera con sus clientes socios, ahorrantes y el desarrollo económico de la República Dominicana.
