Santo Domingo. El Consejo Dominicano para la Calidad (CODOCA) realizó la 21° Reunión de la Comisión técnica de Expertos (CTE), conformada por los representantes técnicos de las 23 instituciones que lo conforman y en donde se trataron, varios temas técnicos de alto nivel referentes al Sistema Dominicano para la Calidad (SIDOCAL).
El ministro de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes y presidente del CODOCA, Víctor –Ito- Bisonó, manifestó la importancia de la calidad en un momento trascendental donde se hace necesaria la dinamización de la economía y un mejor posicionamiento de la producción dominicana en los mercados internacionales.
El ministro Bisonó manifestó que “la calidad es el pasaporte para conquistar los mercados internacionales”, destacando que el gobierno del presidente Luis Abinader ha establecido como meta presidencial el desarrollo de la cultura de calidad en nuestro país.
La Universidad Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), representada en el consejo a través de la Asociación Dominicana de Rectores de Universidades (ADRU), facilitó sus instalaciones para la realización de dicho encuentro, mismo que se repite cada trimestre.
En la convergencia se presentaron nuevas Normas Dominicanas, tales como la NORDOM 23-2:002, para Recipientes de Acero para GLP Vehicular y sus especificaciones; y la NORDOM 675, sobre Etiquetado Nutricional. Definiciones y directrices. De igual manera, se presentaron para revisión la NORDOM 1 (1ra Rev.) sobre Agua Potable y sus requisitos; y la NORDOM 695 (1ra Rev.) para la Producción de Hormigón las que, luego de su aprobación, serán oficializadas por el CODOCA según lo establecido en la Ley 166-12 que establece el SIDOCAL.
