Puerto Plata, R.D. Julio 7, 2021.- La señora Katherine Henriquez, CEO de la empresa Nice Dominicana, destacó que a través de la iniciativa Puerto Plata Somos Todos, con una serie de conversatorios sobre los temas de mayor relevancia para el crecimiento del turismo de Puerto Plata.
Indicó que el objetivo de esta iniciativa que tiene como tema principal la Conectividad es generar no sólo información positiva sino también contribuir a la mejora continua del destino Puerto Plata, en el cual el fortalecimiento de la conectividad es fundamental para el crecimiento del mismo.
Henríquez resaltó que en su participación en el décimo foro Exceltur organizado por el líder hotelero Gabriel Escarrer en el marco de Fitur 2021 se dieron cita los principales líderes del sector generando una gran cantidad de noticias positivas, siendo la principal el incremento de vuelos por el aeropuerto Madrid, Barajas, Adolfo Suarez, lo que ha servido como estímulo para la propuesta de esta jornada de conversatorios.
En el primer Conversatorio Puerto Plata Somos Todos participan como expositores, el director del Instituto Dominicano de Aviación Civil, Román Caamaño, el asesor del Poder Ejecutivo en materia turística, Joel López, la presidenta de la Cámara de Comercio y Producción de Puerto Plata, Mileyka Brugal, teniendo como moderador al periodista Leonardo Medrano.
La jornada contó con la presencia de ejecutivos hoteleros el presidente del Clúster Turístico del Destino Puerto Plata, Cesar José de los Santos la directora ejecutiva de la entidad Juana Bierd, Taty, la directora ejecutiva de la Asociación de Hoteles del Norte, Kathy Morillo, el director ejecutivo de la Asociación de Hoteles de Playa Dorada Manuel Finke, la directora general de negocios turísticos del Banco de Reservas, Deyanira Pappaterra, entre otros ejecutivos.
