Santo Domingo, R.D. Lunes 2 de agosto de 2021.- La Asociación Dominicana de Empresas de Seguridad (ADESINC) informó este lunes sobre la designación de Katia Salomón Mejía como su nueva directora ejecutiva, la primera mujer que ocupa esa posición en este gremio empresarial que agrupa a las principales compañías que ofrecen los servicios de protección privada.
De acuerdo con un comunicado de la asociación, Salomón se desempeñaba desde hace 5 años como su asesora legal y ahora se incorpora con este nuevo rol para dinamizar sus gestiones internas, administrativas y las relaciones con la membresía.
Además, la nueva directora ejecutiva de ADESINC trabajará en coordinación con la Superintendencia de Seguridad Privada en la superación de las dificultades que limitan la operatividad de los socios de esa organización y el sector en su conjunto.
Salomón obtuvo el título de licenciatura en derecho, summa cum laude, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) y se ha destacado en las áreas de derecho constitucional, penal, administrativo, litigio y procedimiento civil.
A lo largo de su vida profesional ha brindado servicios a las firmas Staff Legal, Ayanes Pérez & Asociados, Artagnan Pérez Méndez y AP Abogados & Consultores, de esta última funge como socia desde hace aproximadamente 6 años.
Ha realizado diversos estudios en la Universidad APEC (UNAPEC), PUCMM, Instituto Iberoamericano de Profesionalización del Derecho, Instituto de Capacitación Legal (INCAL), entre otros.
