Santo Domingo.- El Banco Popular Dominicano realizó su tradicional Reunión Anual de Gerentes, esta vez en formato virtual por las condiciones sanitarias, pero que concitó la asistencia de sus más de 1,000 gerentes en todo el territorio nacional, a quienes se les reconoció la excelencia en las labores realizadas y el apego a los valores institucionales del Banco Popular y del resto de filiales de la casa matriz, Grupo Popular.
Los principales ejecutivos de la organización financiera, encabezados por el presidente del Consejo de Administración de Grupo Popular, señor Manuel A. Grullón, expresaron su agradecimiento a los colaboradores por el esfuerzo demostrado para garantizar que las operaciones se hayan mantenido en todo momento en beneficio de los clientes, superando con éxito los períodos más críticos provocados por la COVID-19.
Además, los señores Christopher Paniagua, presidente ejecutivo del Banco Popular; René Grullón Finet, vicepresidente ejecutivo senior de Negocios Nacionales e Internacionales; Juan Lehoux, vicepresidente ejecutivo senior de Tecnología y Operaciones, y Antonia Antón de Hernández, vicepresidente ejecutiva senior de Gestión Humana, Transformación Cultural, Administración de Créditos y Cumplimiento, resumieron los logros institucionales de 2020 y delinearon los objetivos estratégicos de la organización financiera para este año 2021, destacando nuevas soluciones que fortalecerán el liderazgo digital del Popular en el mercado de los servicios financieros del país.
En el acto también fue tributado un especial reconocimiento al fundador del Popular y primer presidente, señor Alejandro E. Grullón E., quien falleció en el mes de diciembre del pasado año 2020, destacando su visión emprendedora y su estatura moral.
Reconocimientos a la gestión gerencial del 2020
Durante el evento fue reconocido el trabajo y el compromiso de los gerentes más destacados a lo largo del año pasado.
El Premio Valores “Manuel A. Grullón” fue otorgado a la señora Beulah Reynoso, gerente de la División de Calidad del Servicio y Experiencia de Clientes y Canales; el Premio a la Eficiencia “Pedro A. Rodríguez” lo obtuvo el señor Johander Cid, gerente del Departamento Data Center y el Premio a la Excelencia “Alejandro E. Grullón E” fue recibido por la señora Suhail Jiménez, gerente Senior Zona Metro Este.
A estas premiaciones estuvieron nominados los señores Johanna Féliz, Heddy Holguín-Veras, Fran Martínez, Teudis Reyes, Hugo González y Giovanni Morales.
