Santo Domingo, R.D. Junio 2021.- Laboratorio Patria Rivas obtuvo la acreditación para la realización de la prueba de Sars-Cov-2 por RT-PCR, que detecta el Covid-19, otorgada por la Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC) de España.
De ese modo, Patria Rivas se convierte en el primer centro de diagnóstico de la República Dominicana y de América Latina en conseguir esa acreditación, bajo la norma ISO 15189:2013, que valida a nivel global la confianza en la competencia técnica de los laboratorios clínicos.
La empresa resaltó que la acreditación es fundamental para asegurar que las decisiones clínicas se toman basadas en resultados fiables, permitiendo minimizar riesgos en la seguridad del paciente y aumentar la calidad diagnóstica.
“Esta conquista es una muestra de que Laboratorio Patria Rivas trabaja de manera comprometida con mantener la calidad de sus procesos y servicios, asegurando resultados precisos, confiables, eficientes y humanizados, especialmente en medio de la crisis sanitaria causada por el Covid-19” informó la entidad mediante un comunicado.
Añadió que en medio de la situación sanitaria por el que atraviesa el mundo, Laboratorio Patria Rivas se ha concentrado en garantizar la salud y seguridad, de sus colaboradores y pacientes.
Asimismo, expresó que durante más de cinco décadas se ha mantenido como uno de los principales centros de diagnóstico privado del país, con 27 sucursales que disponen de tecnología a la vanguardia, para entregar resultados precisos y confiables a sus pacientes.
La Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC) es el ente designado por el Gobierno español como el único Organismo Nacional de Acreditación, de ese país, en aplicación del Reglamento (CE) nº 765/2008, que regula el funcionamiento de las credenciales en Europa.
