El director General del Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) de Colombia, Carlos Mario Estrada Molina, advirtió sobre la desaparición de 80 a 85 millones de empleos en tareas repetitivas y operativas que realizan los seres humanos y vaticinó que surgirán 130 millones de nuevas oportunidades laborales asociadas a las áreas que conforman la Revolución 4.0, haciendo referencia a datos del Observatorio Laboral del Foro Económico Mundial (Davos, Suiza).
Estas informaciones son parte de la conferencia que ofreció Estrada Molina, en el congreso de cierre de la Gran Consulta Nacional sobre el Futuro de la Formación Técnica Profesional, realizado por Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnica Profesional (INFOTEP), con la participación de la vicepresidenta, Raquel Peña.
El experto internacional citó entre las tendencias sobre el trabajo del futuro, inteligencia artificial, big data, drones, realidad virtual, internet de las cosas, blockchain, machine learning, nanotecnología, ciberseguridad, impresión 3D, robótica e ingeniería genética.
Pero sostuvo que el gran reto es que mientras las pérdidas de empleos se darán de manera acelerada, las nuevas opciones laborales se irán presentando de forma gradual y en la medida en que se re-califique el talento humano.
En su conferencia internacional “Formación técnica profesional en el marco de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial”, Estrada Molina valoró el proceso de consulta realizado por el INFOTEP para determinar el futuro del trabajo y dijo que también en el SENA se viene desarrollando un proceso de reforma profunda desde hace tres años.
Manifestó que los cambios fueron acelerados por la crisis sanitaria y habló sobre la necesidad de innovación, agilismo y capacitación permanente para afrontar los desafíos de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial.
La reforma que realiza el SENA -institución homóloga del INFOTEP-, incluye, según explicó su director, alianza y cooperación con organizaciones y empresas líderes globales en tecnología, que contribuyen con la actualización de los ambientes de formación.
Entre los retos que en la entidad se han asumido de cara a la industria 4.0 citó la modernización de programas y desarrollo de nuevos currículos, así como capacitación a instructores, actualización de los métodos y pedagogías de aprendizajes y certificaciones internacionales o de industrias.
“Las revoluciones son irreversibles, la Cuarta Revolución Industrial es irreversible y lo que tenemos que hacer los dirigentes de los sectores público y privado es preparar a nuestras organizaciones y capacitar a nuestro talento humano para lograr que se inserte con éxito en la nueva dinámica nacional y mundial del mercado laboral.
Exhortó a las autoridades y a la dirigencia empresarial dominicanas, a seguir propiciando los cambios para mejorar la formación, que ya iniciaron con la Consulta Nacional auspiciada por el INFOTEP.
Además del director del SENA, en el congreso que marcó la culminación de la Gran Consulta Nacional del INFOTEP, participaron delegados de los sectores empresarial, gubernamental y laboral, así como representantes de organizaciones comunitarias, medios de comunicación, iglesias y partidos políticos, involucrados en el proceso de la Consulta Nacional, iniciado el pasado mes de marzo.
