Punta Cana, R.D.- Como parte de una alianza estratégica entre Grupo Puntacana y Evergo, la mayor y más sofisticada red de estaciones de carga eléctrica en el país, el turismo dominicano apuesta a la movilidad eléctrica con la instalación de un total de tres estaciones de carga para vehículos eléctricos nivel 2 en las instalaciones de Puntacana Resort & Club: Esta alianza empuja el uso de la movilidad eléctrica en el país promoviendo la reducción de las emisiones de dióxido de carbono y contribuyendo así a un desarrollo más sostenible.
El primero de los cargadores fue inaugurado por los principales ejecutivos de ambas entidades en el hotel Four Points by Sheraton, ubicado en Puntacana Village, lugar adecuado para que tanto los viajeros como residentes de la zona puedan recargar sus vehículos. Posteriormente, haciendo uso de un vehículo eléctrico, los mismos inauguraron el segundo cargador en el galardonado hotel, Tortuga Bay Puntacana Resort & Club. De igual forma, se inauguró una estación de carga para el uso exclusivo de sus huéspedes y residentes del resort en The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club.
Los ejecutivos de Grupo Puntacana expresaron su entusiasmo por la oportunidad que les brinda Evergo de poder ser parte de esta iniciativa que estimula el consumo de tecnologías sostenibles, así como el alcance de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de los cuales ambas entidades son signatarios.
El empresario Rolando González-Bunster, Chairman y CEO de InterEnergy Group, casa matriz del Consorcio Energético de Punta Cana – Macao (CEPM), expresó: “Es un placer estar junto a la familia Rainieri inaugurando las primeras tres estaciones de carga para vehículos eléctricos en hoteles de la zona de Punta Cana, y qué mejor manera de hacerlo que en los hoteles de Puntacana Resort & Club junto al Grupo Puntacana, a quienes considero pioneros en materia de turismo en República Dominicana además de grandes aliados nuestros”.

Agradezco la confianza y apoyo del Grupo Puntacana y estamos seguros de que esta alianza estratégica con sus hoteles será muy fructífera e impulsará el uso de vehículos eléctricos en la zona”, resaltó González-Bunster.

El modelo de las estaciones de carga de Evergo es de autoservicio, mediante una APP, disponible en App Store y Google Play, a través de la cual el usuario podrá hacer seguimiento de su carga en tiempo real, pagar a través de una billetera virtual y contar con el mapa de las diferentes estaciones, entre otras facilidades.
