SANTO DOMINGO.- El Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Mipymes (MICM) y el Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico Profesional (INFOTEP) firmaron un acuerdo para coordinar la ejecución de programas de formación técnico profesional con el objetivo de contribuir a la generación de empleos y encadenamientos productivos.
El ministro Bisonó manifestó que “en este mundo de intenso dinamismo y de competencia, el valor agregado de las industrias lo otorga la excelencia y formación de su capital humano, por lo que se hace esencial fomentar la educación técnico-profesional para lograr una producción eficiente y con calidad”.
Explicó que INFOTEP, como regulador y actor principal en materia de formación técnica de ciclos cortos y medios, “tiene un rol fundamental para desarrollar las capacidades que la industria requiere, apoyando de esa manera los esfuerzos de atracción de inversión, expansión de empresas y ampliaciones que aportarán a la meta de creación del millón de empleos”, refirió.
De su lado, Santos Badía sostuvo que, con esta firma, el INFOTEP, junto al MICM, reitera su compromiso de impulsar la productividad y competitividad empresarial, con especial énfasis en las mipymes y los emprendimientos productivos, cónsono con las directrices y lineamientos del presidente Luis Abinader y de la mano con los empresarios.
El pacto, que tiene una vigencia de tres años, contempla capacitación y asistencia técnica orientadas a las mipymes a nivel nacional en las novedosas áreas de comercio electrónico, ciencia de datos, alfabetización digital, desarrollo de software y transformación digital.
También fomento del aprendizaje del inglés de nivel técnico, métodos para mejorar la productividad, gestión de la calidad, innovación en procesos y estrategias de administración organizacional, entre otros.
El MICM y el INFOTEP fortalecerán los programas de inglés técnico, a partir de los requerimientos de industrias de alto potencial de crecimiento e impulsarán el Programa de Formación Dual ampliando sus ocupaciones y la cantidad de empresas formadoras.
Asimismo, la alianza entre ambas instituciones hará posible la detección de necesidades de formación de las mipymes, clasificadas por sectores y otros indicadores.
Además, permitirá impulsar la capacitación de estas empresas y de las industrias aplicando métodos para mejorar la productividad a través entrenamientos sobre Técnicas de las 5s, Gestión de calidad para la mejora continua, Innovación en procesos, Lean manufacturing y Estrategia de administración organizacional.
Para el desarrollo de la inclusión financiera se contempla la asistencia técnica especializada de los asesores financieros en los centros mipymes y de los asesores de productividad del INFOTEP.
Se ofrecerá también capacitación para multiplicadores sobre el uso del portal www.formalizate.gob.do y sobre mecanismos de formalización de las mipymes e industrias con interés en regular sus operaciones.
Otros proyectos con el MICM
MICM e INFOTEP firmaron, en septiembre de 2017, un acuerdo para capacitar 3,200 empresarios de Mipymes y emprendedores, con el propósito de incorporar mejoras en sus procesos productivos e impulsar la creación de empleos.
En diciembre de 2018 el MICM capacitó a decenas de docentes del INFOTEP en emprendimiento, con la finalidad de que se convirtieran en multiplicadores para micro, pequeños y medianos empresarios.
En abril de este año 2021, el INFOTEP, el MICM y otras instituciones firmaron un convenio para desarrollar el Proyecto de Formación y Asistencia Técnica Avanzada para la Sostenibilidad del Sector Plástico en República Dominicana.
