Santo Domingo, R.D., Febrero 2021.- El Scotiabank lanzó su nueva campaña regional de fútbol, denominada “El Entretiempo”, que busca mostrar desde la perspectiva de los más jóvenes cómo podemos adaptarnos y mirar hacia el futuro, con el fútbol como el elemento transformador de nuestras vidas y comunidades.
Gracias al poder de la tecnología, once niños y jóvenes de distintos países latinoamericanos (ex participantes en proyectos de fútbol comunitario de Scotiabank Fútbol Club), se reúnen en un vestidor para compartir sus experiencias dentro y fuera de la cancha. Estarán acompañados de Carles Puyol, la leyenda del deporte y exfutbolista del FC Barcelona, como mentor y entrenador, quien afirmó “hoy más que nunca, me siento orgulloso de colaborar con Scotiabank para generar un impacto positivo en los niños y jóvenes en América Latina, pues siempre he creído en el deporte como herramienta para inculcar valores a los más jóvenes”.
“El fútbol es un elemento transformador muy poderoso en su desarrollo, pues enseña habilidades y principios que les ayudarán más allá del terreno de juego”, afirmó Puyol.
Para el licenciado Eduardo García Rojas, Director de Mercadeo y Patrocinios de Scotiabank República Dominicana, “el COVID-19 nos ha llevado a nivel global a un ‘entretiempo’ y, al igual que en el fútbol, se trata de un momento para reflexionar y redefinir estrategias”.
