En el marco de los actos de inauguración del residencial Crisfer y el inicio de obras de Central Park en Downtown Punta Cana, Hazoury expresó que “el proyecto turístico inmobiliario de Central Park en Downtown, es una muestra del avance y diversificación de la oferta turística ubicada en segunda línea de la costa”.
Dijo, además, que proyectos residenciales como Crisfer, con más de mil viviendas para colaboradores del sector, demuestran «las bonanzas que el turismo derrama sobre todos los dominicanos”.
Señaló que “el turismo inmobiliario se genera luego que el turismo de sol y playa madura, como ha sucedido en la provincia La Altagracia, donde ya existen varios destinos como son Bávaro, Punta Cana y Cap Cana. La oferta complementaria del turismo inmobiliario debe combinarse con el turismo urbano, el cual solo se genera en destinos turísticos ya consolidados como los arriba mencionados. Aquí podemos hablar de hoteles en segunda o tercera línea de la costa que ofrezcan otros atractivos que no sean puramente sol y playa, como por ejemplo los que hoy fueron anunciados que se ejecutarán acá mismo con marcas internacionales del nivel de Mariott y de Hilton, a esto se agregarían parques temáticos y de diversiones, hoteles ecológicos, turismo de salud, turismo gastronómico, entre otros”.
Todo lo anterior conforma una ciudad turística que diversifica los servicios a nuestros visitantes extranjeros y a todos los colaboradores dominicanos que trabajan en este sector mejorando su calidad de vida.
Dentro de este marco, Hazoury elogió el éxito de la campaña de vacunación ejecutada por parte del Estado, externando que “se ha transmitido seguridad a los países emisores de turistas al Caribe, en especial, al mercado de los Estados Unidos que representa el 80% de las llegadas”.
