Realiza Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo ofrenda floral 177 aniversario Independencia Dominicana

SANTO DOMINGO, R.D., Febrero 18, 2021.- La Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo (Refidomsa PDV) realizó una ofrenda floral en el Altar de la Patria con motivo del 177 Aniversario de la Independencia Nacional, la cual contó con la presencia del presidente del Consejo de Administración, doctor Leonardo Aguilera, así como otros miembros del consejo, gerentes y empleados.

Con este acto, Refidomsa PDV se une a la celebración del Mes de la Patria, en el cual se rinde tributo a los creadores de la República Dominicana como un Estado libre e independiente, al tiempo de iniciar la conmemoración de su 48 aniversario.

Las palabras centrales estuvieron a cargo de don Néstor Rodríguez, Gerente General de la refinería, quien agradeció a los trinitarios por la gesta que hizo posible el país que hoy en día tenemos.

“Durante todo ese tiempo, a los dominicanos nos ha representado toda suerte de sacrificio, conservar el legado de los hombres y mujeres, cuyos principales líderes descansan en este mausoleo patriótico. Todo sacrificio se justifica si lo asumimos como nuestro modesto abono a la causa de la República”, expresó Rodríguez durante su discurso.

Con motivo de celebrarse el 177 Aniversario de la gesta histórica de la Independencia Dominicana, donde se inició la marcha para establecer lo que hoy es una República libre, soberana e independiente.  Una nacionalidad que es el legado de Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez y Matías Ramón Mella.

“Debemos recordar a los hombres y mujeres que hicieron posible que hoy estemos celebrando un aniversario más de la patria, un acto de conmemoración y honor a nuestros fundadores, y no olvidar sus principios y valores y cumplirlos como ellos anhelaron, es nuestro compromiso a su memoria”, concluyó el ejecutivo.

La Refinería Dominicana de Petróleo (Refidomda PDV) inauguró sus operaciones el 24 de febrero de 1973, siendo una sociedad conjunta entre el Estado Dominicano y la Shell International Petroleum Company, en una participación accionaria igualitaria de 50 por ciento cada una, con el propósito de ser la empresa líder en el refinado del crudo y los derivados del petróleo en el país. Actualmente el Estado Dominicano posee el 51 por ciento de las acciones y PDV Caribe el 49.

—-El 27 de febrero de 1844, a pocos metros de este sagrado lugar, mientras la ciudad dormía, un grupo de valientes jóvenes que en su gran mayoría no alcanzaban los 30 años de edad, daba el primer paso para anunciarle al mundo el nacimiento de una nueva Nación.

—-Con el ideal libertario forjado bajo el pensamiento de Juan Pablo Duarte, aquellos bríos patrióticos empezaron el arduo camino para construir la independencia nacional a sangre y fuego.

No podemos olvidar que muchos de ellos habrían de seguir enfrentando la amenaza contra la República que no cesaría un instante a partir de la noche memorable que este mes cumple 177 años.

—Durante todo ese tiempo, a los dominicanos nos ha representado toda suerte de sacrificio conservar el legado de los hombres y mujeres, cuyos principales líderes descansan en este mausoleo patriótico.

Al acudir esta tarde a rendir tributo a la memoria INMORTAL de los ilustres Padres de la Patria, los aquí reunidos sentimos la emoción que brota de lo más profundo para agradecerles su entrega sin pausa y sin esperar recompensa para que podamos sentirnos orgullosos de nuestra nacionalidad.

Una nacionalidad que los buenos hijos e hijas de esta patria han estado siempre dispuestos a defender al precio que sea, para poder sentirnos dignos de merecer el legado de Duarte, Sánchez y Mella.

Todo sacrificio se justifica si lo asumimos como nuestro modesto abono a la causa de la República.
