La publicación internacional valoró el respaldo del Banco de Reservas a los programas gubernamentales, y por ser pionero en el lanzamiento de medidas concebidas para aliviar la carga financiera de los clientes.
Al otorgar por quinta ocasión el premio a Banreservas, Euromoney apreció, además, la solvencia del banco, el crecimiento de su cartera y de sus utilidades, que lo convirtieron en el banco con mayores ganancias del período.
La revista también sopesó el crecimiento y la rentabilidad del banco, su participación en el mercado en términos de activos y depósitos y su índice de morosidad: más bajo que el promedio del sistema, así como su historial de logros e innovaciones.
Para realizar la selección, Euromoney analizó y calificó más de 1,000 propuestas procedentes de bancos de 100 países.
Desempeño financiero
Al cierre de junio, las utilidades netas de Banreservas alcanzaron un total de RD$ 7,762.1 millones, mientras sus activos aumentaron a RD$805,995.5 millones, y su cartera de préstamos bruta alcanzó los RD$348,967.5 millones. En tanto, los depósitos se mantienen en constante crecimiento totalizando RD$ 655,556.4 millones.
