Santo Domingo, R.D. Junio 1ro, 2021.- La doctora Biviana Riveiro, Directora Ejecutiva del Centro de Exportación e Inversión de la República Dominicana (ProDominicana) celebro la iniciativa Despacho en 24 Horas que impulsa la Dirección General de Aduanas (DGA).
Riveiro Disla explicó que, “La DGA está dando pasos certeros para la modernización de los trámites de carga de mercancías en el país. Todos los sectores trabajamos para incrementar la capacidad logística dominicana, con Despacho en 24 Horas estamos más cerca de lograrlo”.
Tal como precisó la DGA, se espera que para finales de año unas mil empresas reciban sus mercancías en el tiempo propuesto. La nueva iniciativa es altamente favorable para el país, ante los organismos que miden los diferentes indicadores de competitividad, específicamente en las variables de logística y transporte.
El Despacho en 24 Horas supone un avance significativo en la consecución de los objetivos planteados en el Plan Nacional de Fomento de las Exportaciones. Una Aduanas que moderniza las prácticas de inspección, se transforma con miras a elevar la eficiencia de los procesos, operaciones y servicios aduanales y portuarios del país, dinamiza el desempeño de la cadena logística, permitiendo de esta forma que el sector exportador sea más competitivo en la colocación de los productos a nivel internacional.
“Agilizar los trámites aduanales incrementa el atractivo del país ante empresas extranjeras con vocación exportadora y de los exportadores que al mismo tiempo importan mercancías para sus procesos productivos. De manera que, entre la reducción de procesos burocráticos y la capacidad de nuestros puertos de carga, nos colocamos como un destino cada vez más conveniente”, agregó Riveiro.
