Madrid, España.- El Banco de Reservas se integró este miércoles a la inauguración de la Feria Internacional de Turismo FITUR 2021, con la participación de una delegación de negocios presidida por su administrador general, Samuel Pereyra, que de inmediato comenzó a concertar acuerdos y convenios con ejecutivos de importantes grupos inversionistas en diversas áreas del turismo.
En el acto inaugural, el ministro de Turismo, David Collado, resaltó que tanto el Banco de Reservas como el Banco Popular han jugado un papel clave en la recuperación del turismo, al tiempo de referir que la participación de la delegación dominicana en esta importante feria representa el “banderazo de salida” para la recuperación del turismo en República Dominicana después de la recaída que tuvo a causa de la pandemia.
Previo al acto inaugural, Pereyra realizó un recorrido por el recinto ferial acompañado por la delegación de ejecutivos de negocios del Banco y sus principales filiales que lo acompañan en este cónclave que reúne a tours operadores, hoteleros, inversionistas y gestores internacionales de las diversas áreas que mueven la industria turística.
La agenda del administrador general de Banreservas en la apertura de FITUR incluyó reuniones privadas con representantes de grupos hoteleros, que cuentan con inversiones en diferentes países, especialmente de América Latina.
La primera entrevista del día fue con Alejandro Reynal y Javier Coll, CEO y VP ejecutivo de Aple Leisure, respectivamente. Esta empresa estadounidense es líder en el segmento de viajes de placer y hostelería e incluye diversas marcas, que sumen unas 20,000 habitaciones en México, el Caribe y Centroamérica.
Posteriormente Pereyra sostuvo otra reunión de negocios con Encarna Piñero y José María Mayans, del Grupo Piñero, empresa hotelera española que abarca toda la cadena de valor de la industria turística y que tiene una fuerte inversión en la República Dominicana.
La participación de Banreservas en esta 41 edición de Fitur tiene el propósito de contribuir a la captación de inversiones que requieran de financiamientos para el desarrollo de proyectos turísticos y en otros ámbitos, que contribuyan a dinamizar la economía del país.
