Santo Domingo.D.N. 21 de julio, 2021. La Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), a través de su Escuela de Administración de Empresas, celebró el Foro Internacional: Oportunidades de Negocios entre la Asociación Latinoamericana de Integración (ALADI) y República Dominicana, con el que forja un camino de interacción con los sectores empresarial, gubernamental y académico entre los países miembros de ALADI.
El foro dio inicio con la conferencia: “Sistema ALADI como instrumento de desarrollo comercial regional, integrada por los ejecutivos de ALADI, Ney Fernández, Subsecretario de Desarrollo del Espacio de Libre Comercio; Analía Correa, funcionaria técnica del Departamento de Acuerdos y Negociaciones; y Christian Leroux, Jefe del Departamento de Acuerdos y Negociaciones, respectivamente, presentes en este espacio de interacción a través del canal de YouTube de esta casa de altos estudios @unibeenlinea.
Para el segundo tiempo de esta plataforma de intercambio sectorial tuvo lugar el panel “Experiencias miembros de ALADI, integrado por el honorable embajador de Brasil, señor Clemente Baena Soares; Edwin Vásquez, Subsecretario de Negociaciones del Viceministerio de Comercio Exterior de Ecuador; Manuel Ortiz Zevallos, director ejecutivo de la Cladea; y Olga Suárez, profesora de negocios internacionales de UNIBE. El mismo fue moderado por el viceministro de Asuntos Económicos y Cooperación Internacional del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de la R.D., señor Hugo Francisco Rivera Fernández.
Con el tema: “Retos y Oportunidades para el sector empresarial e industrial de la R.D., como miembro de ALADI”, fue realizado el tercer panel de este encuentro, esta vez, compuesto por los principales actores del sector empresarial del país, entre ellos: el licenciado Noel Bienvenido Ureña, presidente ANEIH; José Manuel Torres, vicepresidente de ADOZONA; licenciada Odile Miniño, vicepresidenta ejecutiva de ADOEXPO; Roberto Despradel, asesor económico de la AIRD; y el licenciado Vladimir Pimentel, asesor de la Dirección Ejecutiva de Prodominicana. Este espacio estuvo moderado por el vicepresidente ejecutivo del CONEP, licenciado César Dargán.
El cierre del Foro Internacional dio paso al cuarto panel “Retos y Oportunidades para el sector agrícola de la R.D., como miembro de ALADI; agrupando a las principales cabezas del sector agrícola del país, compuesto por: Hecmilio Galván, vicepresidente de CONFENAGRO; Hendrik Kelner, presidente de PROCIGAR; Rafael Almonte, presidente de INTABACO; y el señor Franklin Crespo, miembro de la Junta Directiva de ADOBANANO, moderado por el señor Ángelo Viro, presidente de la Cámara Dominico Brasileña en el país.
Dentro del marco de la celebración de este Foro Internacional, Unibe dio formal apertura a su tradicional Feria Internacional FEINNE – UNIBE 2022, un espacio que arrivó a sus 15 años de celebración en el recinto académico, con la participación de destacadas personalidades nacionales e internacionales y anunció que los países miembros de ALADI, serán los países invitados a la misma.
En ese sentido, la directora de la Escuela de Administración Empresarial, licenciada Miguelina Franco, tuvo a su cargo las palabras iniciales de este foro, con las que indicó: “Para nosotros es un gran honor poder contar hoy con la presencia de cada uno de los que han aceptado ser parte de este Foro Internacional, con el cual tendremos la oportunidad de intercambiar valiosas informaciones con el fin de facilitar el aprovechamiento de las oportunidades de negocios que existen entre la República Dominicana y los 13 países miembros de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Integración ALADI”.
Así mismo añadió: “Ponemos a la comunidad académica de Unibe, junto a sus aliados académicos internacionales, a la disposición del sector empresarial y gubernamental para la realización de futuras actividades tales como grupos de trabajo, espacios de debates e iniciativas de integración regional y de investigación que nos permitan seguir impulsando el aprovechamiento de las oportunidades de negocios y de colaboración entre Aladi y nuestro país”.
La institución académica realizó en el marco de este encuentro, un reconocimiento especial al viceministro de Asuntos Económicos y Cooperación Internacional del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del país, señor Hugo Francisco Rivera Fernández, por su apoyo y respaldo en cada una de las entregas que celebra la Feria Internacional FEINNE – UNIBE.
Durante el foro, los representantes de los diferentes gremios empresariales estuvieron de acuerdo en que es conveniente para la República Dominicana poder ser parte de ALADI para así poder contar con más oportunidades de negocios e integrarse más efectivamente a la región.
