Santo Domingo, R. D., enero 25, 2021.- La Asociación Nacional de Jóvenes Empresarios (ANJE) manifestó sus impresiones sobre el proceso de escogencia de los nuevos jueces del Tribunal Constitucional, reconociendo que por primera vez todas las vacantes de una Alta Corte han sido completadas con juristas que pertenecen o han participado por larga data en la carrera judicial. La petición de que las vacantes en las Altas Cortes deben ser llenadas por miembros de la carrera judicial ha sido un reclamo desde 1997, cuando se instauró el sistema actual del Consejo Nacional de Magistratura. Susana Martínez Nadal, presidenta de la ANJE señaló que: “Este hito merece ser resaltado porque sienta las bases de la voluntad de fortalecer el sistema de justicia respondiendo a uno de los criterios establecidos en el Reglamento de aplicación de la Ley 138-11”.
Otro elemento que se destacó fue la realización de vistas públicas de cara a la sociedad, aportando confianza en el proceso y salvaguardando la imagen del sistema judicial: “Los jóvenes empresarios hacemos un llamado a la sociedad a dar seguimiento a la labor del Consejo Nacional de la Magistratura (CNM), velando porque se garanticen procesos de evaluación integral que contribuyan al fortalecimiento de nuestro Poder Judicial”, enfatizó Martínez Nadal.
Por último, la ejecutiva añadió: “Desde ANJE esperamos que las próximas convocatorias permitan continuar fortaleciendo y elevando los niveles de institucionalidad del país y contribuyendo a un clima de negocios atractivo. El sistema de justicia constituye una de esas estructuras clave para garantizar los elementos que propician el desarrollo del país”.
